Yardline Warranty Overview
What’s Covered
- 10-year limited material warranty*
- Workmanship and manufacturing: 1 year
- Accessories, hardware, and metal components: 1 year
- Standard 3-tab shingles: 25-year limited warranty (prorated after 10 years)*
- Metal roof: 25 years
- LP® Siding and Trim: 5/50-year limited warranty, prorated (substrate)
- ProStruct® floor decking: 10-year limited warranty, prorated (substrate; not covered if exposed to weather)
Note: Coverage listed above applies to materials only and does not include installation or labor for replacements.
Shingle warranties are valid only if purchased with installation through Yardline.
Warranty Conditions*
The limited warranty applies only if:
- The unit is owned by the original purchaser.
- Yardline is given a reasonable opportunity (within 60 days of notice) to inspect and verify the issue.
Owner Responsibilities (to Maintain Coverage)
- Paint and caulk within 60 days of installation.
- Apply two coats of 100% acrylic latex paint to exterior siding, trim, and doors.
- Caulk seams, gaps, and horizontal and vertical joints.
Site Care
- Keep the perimeter and underside of the shed clear of vegetation.
- Position sprinklers so they do not spray the shed; keep excess water off the structure.
Clearances
- Concrete slab: siding must be at least ½ inch above the slab.
- Wood foundation: siding must be at least 3½ inches above ground when using a treated wood floor foundation kit.
What’s Not Covered
- Damage from insects, sprinklers or water exposure, or acts of God (e.g., tornadoes, hail, fire).
- Movement of the shed from its original location or structural alterations (may void warranty).
- Personal property stored inside the shed.
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, misuse, improper maintenance, or events beyond our control.
- Some rights may vary by state.
